Everytime I write I think it can't get anymore beautiful and amazing yet China keeps impressing me. Today we went to the rice terraces. It started with a two hour bus ride and then bam we are in a mountain built on hills in basically a whole new world.
We hiked and hiked up stairs and stairs until the lady we met on the bus took us to her restaurant. It was a beautiful view!
We sat and played cards with the Aussies until our food arrived. We got the local cuisine: rice stuffed into bamboo shoots and cooked on the fire.
After our feast we continued our hike.
As we climbed the views of the rice terraces got more beautiful.
We hiked along the edges and around the terraces just amazed by the beauty
We finally found some that were covered by water and were what we were expecting.
