Exploring the city

Today we went back to old town to explore the city. We started by finding these trees that apparently were chilly so someone knitted them a scarf. Isn't that nice.
Then we started our walk to Gediminas Castle. After climbing the hill to the pint this was our view:

It was incredible.
Then we climbed in the tower and the view for even more spectacular.
On our way down you could also see where the three crosses are. That will be a later adventure.
This is what the castle tower looks like:
When we were at the top we saw this gorgeous church and were told that Napoleon wanted to take it apart and take it back to Framce with him but every brick was a different size and anyway it didn't happen because here it is.
As we walked we saw this cute bride and decided to cross.
We ended up in Uzupio which is a self declared republic. They have their own constitution and the whole city is covered in bohemian style art. There is art on the walls, in the river, on the street and so forth.
My favorite part of the day. Read number 12 and 13.
12. A dog has the right to be a dog.
12. A cat is not obliged to love it's owner but it must help in time of nee. I don't know what time of nee is but hey the cat doesn't have to like you.
